Cindy Burgess
Graveside services will be Saturday for Cindy Burgess who died Wednesday at her Capitola home following an illness. She was 31. Born in Hampton, Va., Mrs. Burgess graduated from Clayton Valley High School in Concord with honors. She was also an honors nursing student at Ricks Junior College in Rexberg, Idaho. She was an active member of the Clayton Valley Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and taught Sunday school for many years. She came to Santa Cruz County three years ago.

Mrs. Burgess is survived by her sons, Aaron and Jason Burgess, both of Capitola; parents, Mary Ann Woodward of Soquel and Gordon Woodward of Capitola; brothers, Kurtis Woodward of Santa Cruz and Brock Woodward of Capitola; and her grandparents.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Soquel Cemetery, Old San Jose Road, Soquel. The Bishop Robert Smead will officiate. Friends may call at White's and Wessendorf Chapel, 138 Walnut Ave., from 5 to 8 tonight, and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. White's and Wessendorf Chapel, 138 Walnut Ave. is in charge of arrangements.

Survived by her two sons, Aaron and Jason, both of Capitola; her parents, Mary Ann Woodward of Soquel and Gordon Woodward of Capitola; her two brothers, Kurtis Woodward of Santa Cruz and Brock Woodward of Capitola; her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Woodward of Pullman, Wash. Native of Hampton, Va., aged 31 years. Member of the Clayton Valley Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Graveside Services will be conducted at Soquel Cemetery, Old San Jose Rd Soquel on Saturday, August 10, 1985, at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Robert Smead of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Santa Cruz Second Ward, officiating. Visitation for family and friends wll be at WhiteTs and Wessendorf Chapel (Jim Russell, funeral counselor), 138 Walnut Ave., Santa Cruz on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30a.m. until 12:00 noon.
