Tommy had returned to Albany upon the death of his father, Thomas Hall Pritchett, after living many years in Destin, Florida.
Born in Chattanooga, TN, Tommy was a member of the Albany High School class of 1967 and attended The University of Georgia where he was in the Sigma Nu fraternity. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgia State University in 1971.
He worked in the family business at Pritchett Ford and Thomasville Honda.
Tommy will be remembered for his creative spirit, his love of classic rock and roll and for his extensive art collection.
Like his father, Tommy was known for his love of a good time and for his sweet disposition.
He is survived by his son, Coley Thomas Pritchett of Wilmington, North Carolina, his mother, Patricia Williams Pritchett of Albany, and sisters, Susan Pritchett of Atlanta, Dinah Phillips of Alpharetta, Carolyn Hill of Leesburg.
The family will receive guests after the service at the home of Patricia Pritchett at 3708 Hidden Hill Court, Albany, GA, 31721.
