Ms. Lavoie passed away at the age of 93, and resided in Lincoln Park. She was the daughter of the William and Pearl Metzner, who predeceased her. Devoted mother of four daughters and a son. Dear grandmother of six, and of nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, and two siblings. She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Gish. She was a 1938 graduate of Lincoln Park School. She belonged to the Lincoln Park Eagles, and was their 90th Honorary Charter Member. She had been a secretary at Great Lakes Steel for 20 years. A Memorial Mass was held at Christ the Good Shepherd Church. .hxs.
