Anna Jean Jewell, age 80, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born August 26. 1933 in Jack Fork , Oklahoma , the daughter of Gladys Smith and Bonnie Helen Smith. Jean was a homemaker and loved to work in her garden, fish, watch TV and take care of her dogs. Her dogs were very special to her, she called them her boys.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Bonnie Helen Smith; husband, Henry Jewell; daughter, Shirley Louise Jewell and three sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Ralph Jewell and wife Kathrina of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Mary Clayton and husband John, Joy Gross and Kalika Mertes; great grandchildren, Adrian Clayton, Andreya Clayton, Lextacy Lambert, Destiney Lambert and Juno Lambert; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 from 6 to 8p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spirit Rock Church in Millerton, Oklahoma with the Bro. Troy Ruffin officiating.

Interment will follow at the Broken Bow Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
