Vivian M. Bauer 76, of Cornell passed away Tuesday, December 20th at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care St. Joseph's Hospice.
She was born the daughter of Selmer and Lillian (Moore) Helland in Chippewa Falls. She married Laverne Bauer on August 9, 1948, in Chippewa Falls, and they resided in Eau Claire until moving to Cornell in 1970. She had been employed at National Presto Industries in Eau Claire and also had worked as a CNA at The MapleWood in Bloomer.
Survivors include two daughters Loni (Al) Ramminger and Kelly (Mark) Larson, both of Cornell; three sons, Randy (Monica) Bauer, Larry (Elizabeth) Bauer, both of Fall Creek and Rick (Dana) Bauer of Pahrump, Nev.; one brother, Carl (Betty) Helland of Friendship.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband; one brother, Glenn Helland; one sister, Eileen Carrell; and one grandson, Craig.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Cornell with Rev. James Leschensky officiating. Burial will be in the Cornell Cemetery.
Friends may call two hours prior to services at the church on Thursday.
