Lewis Jones Harward, 71, of Gore passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Muskogee. He was born on Jan. 22, 1943, in Durham, N.C., the son of John and Hazel Harward. He was married to Wilma Jean Shade Brimm for 32 years. Mr. Harward was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma of the home; one son, William "Todd" Harward of the home; one stepdaughter, Terry Thomas of Gore; one stepson, Steven Brimm of Gore; nine grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Brenda; and one brother, J.C. Harward II.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Gore. Burial will be at Phillips Cemetery in Keys under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Gore.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Gore.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Mullins, Ryan Mullins, Derek Thomas, Zachary Brimm, Greg Thomas and Keith Arnold.
