Alma Eure "Doll" Bethea, 51, of Orchard Grove Drive, died Oct. 24, 2005, in Chesapeake General Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she worked for social services and was a member of New Rising Sun Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Lake Taylor High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Norfolk State University. Survivors include her husband, Leroy Bethea; a son, Omar S. Eure; her mother, Eugenia A. Bradley and father James R. Bradley; a sister, Annette E. Newkirk; brothers, William Z. Eure, Roosevelt T. Bradley and Nathaniel K. Bradley; and grandparents, Alma Spruill and Richard Sawyer. A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Hood Chapel AMEZ Church by the Rev. Eva Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
