Edwin O. (Pete) Schwemm, 78, 3620 E. Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake died Sunday, March 30 in the McHenry Hospital, the victim of an automobile accident.
He was born December 17, 1896 in Algonquin, the son of William and Sophia Demlow Schwemm.
He was a retired superintendent for the Commonwealth Edison Co. He was married to the late Rose Buhrmann.
His survivors include a son Warren of Monroe, Wis., a daughter, Mrs. Marlene Kaleioki of Hawaii; 3 grandchildren; 5 brothers - Raymond, Alvin, and Howard of Crystal Lake, Gordon of Delavan, Wis., and Leslie of Woodstock; and a sister, Esther Schwemm of Crystal Lake.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rose, his parents, a sister and 2 brothers.
