John J. Marinan, 46, of 2116 Marquette Street, Davenport, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon in Mercy hospital.
Services will be at 8:30 AM Wednesday in the Halligan Funeral Home, and at 9 AM in Holy Family Catholic Church. The Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM today in the funeral home and the parish Rosary will be recited at 8 PM. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
A native of Davenport, Mr. Marinan married Martha J. Pence in South Bend in 1939. He had been a foreman with the Pioneer Central Division, Bendix Corp.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, John Jr. and Stephen; a daughter, Mary Jo, all at home and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Hull, Davenport and Miss Mary Marinan, Louisville, Ky.
