Margaret was the daughter of James Crawford and Elenor Orr. She is listed in her father's will (written 1819, probated 1822) as "Margaret Adams." She married Robert Adams on June 26, 1806 in Huntingdon Co., PA. See his memorial for information on their children.
Margaret (per her obituary) died at the home of her son, Capt. Thomas Adams in Burrell Twp.; she was survived by Thomas and two daughters (Eleanor and either Mary or Sarah, I am not sure which).

DEATH OF MRS. ADAMS--It becomes our painful duty at this time, to record the death of Mrs. Margaret Adams, mother of our highly esteemed fellow citizen Capt. Thos. Adams, who died at the residence of her son in Burrell Township on Wednesday Jan 28th.
Mrs. Adams was born in Huntingdon county, and emigrated to this county with her husband in April 1832, and in August 1841 was left a widow. She leaves one son and two daughters with their descendants to mourn her loss. Her remains were interred in the Blairsville Cemetery on Thursday last. We sincerely tender our sympathies to the family.--Record
