OBITUARY-
AUSTIN -- Etta A. Jensen, 94, of Austin, a former manager and buyer for Lerner Shops in the Twin Cities, died Sunday (Dec. 8, 1991) at St. Mark's Lutheran Home in Austin.
The former Etta A. Lashbrook was born Feb. 27, 1897, in Minneapolis. Her first husband, Clarence Barr I, died in 1920. In 1938 she married Arthur Jensen and they made their home in Austin. Mr. Jensen died in 1971. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, Seek and Find Club, an antique club and the American Red Cross Gray Ladies.
She is survived by two grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin, with the Rev. Wesley Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
Friends may call an hour before the service at the funeral home.
Etta's given name has been found as Henrietta, but her death certificate uses Etta.
