Eva S. Taylor, 87, formerly of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Thursday, April 6, 2000, in Bedford at the home of her son, Ronald C. Miller and his wife, Louisa J. (Bowers) Miller.
She was. born Feb. 2, 1913, in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late George and Binnie (Imler) Stambaugh, a direct descendant of Indian Eve.
Mrs. Taylor was married first to A. Glair Miller. In 1960, she married Carl E. Taylor, who preceded her in death in 1987. She lived in Florida until November of 1999.
In addition to her son, Ronald, she is survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter.
She was a 1929 graduate of Bedford High School. She was of the Lutheran faith. In her earlier years, she was employed by Attorney A. Little. She also worked for the Bedford Milling Company and Carl Deibert Feeds. For several years, she and her son managed Bedford Village Motel for Ed Flynn. Mrs. Taylor's last employment was with the Bedford Gazette.
Memorial services: To be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.
