Willard "Pete" was the son of Willard and Ruth (Walker) Agee.

Pete enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II in September 1945 at age 17 and served on an aircraft carrier.

Pete married Irene Szymanski in 1947. They were the parents of one son, Pete Kevin Agee.

Pete died from cancer.
