Robert Lee Butler, 87 of Dixie Avenue, Cartersville Georgia passed away Monday, July 23, 2012.Mr. Butler was born January 13, 1925 in Bartow County, the son of the late, Roy and Mamie (Strickland) Butler, was retired from First Brands, was an active member of the Zena Drive Senior Center and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Catherine (Collins) Butler.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Brown officiating.Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.Pallbearers will be Kent Black, Ed Bruce, John C.
