ALFRED ANDRADE Long-time Fremont native passed away peacefully on July 19, 2006 in his home at the age of 93. Alfred lived in Fremont his entire life, born in the Warm Springs district on January 5, 1913, he moved to Mission San Jose where he lived the last 68 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Dolores Telles Andrade. He was the last surviving member of a large Portuguese family of 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Alfred will be remembered for his gentle smile, kind words, love of camping and fishing. Survived by his 4 children Glenn (Marsha) Andrade of Santa Rosa, Edward (Linda) Andrade of Sonora, Carol (Dave) Irons of Modesto and Donna (Tom) Hodge of Livermore. Also, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandsons, several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to VITAS Hospice San Francisco Bay at 39899 Balentine Drive, Suite 161, Newark Ca. 94560.
