BRAZIL — BRAZIL — Carol Jean Sizemore, 67, of Brazil, passed away, at home, unexpectedly, on March 7, 2014. Carol was born Aug. 13, 1946, the daughter of Lee and Pauline (Edwards) Tidler. She married Norman Sizemore, who preceded her in death. Carol had worked as a bartender at the American Legion in Brazil but was most recently volunteering at Crisis Pregnancy Center in Terre Haute and Brazil. She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, gardening and raising as many farm animals as she could. She also enjoyed sewing, painting, making crafts, watching Duck Dynasty and listening to Blue Grass music.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Allen Tidler; and a brother, Bob Tidler.

She is survived by three children, Jenny Lakes of Anderson, Melisa Frederick and husband Jim of Brazil and Tim Scott and wife Barbara of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jeffrey James and wife Jessica of Norfolk, Va., Carissa Yates and husband Joe of Brazil, Lexi Scott of Indianapolis, Holly Frederick of Brazil, and Marissa Sinclair and husband Phillip of Brazil; great-grandchildren, Grace, Hannah, Carter and William; a brother, Bud Tidler and wife Pauline; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Tidler; as well as several extended family members.

Funeral services for Carol will be at French Funeral Home, in Brazil, Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Chris Gregg officiating. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Center Point. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crisis Pregnancy Center, 1527 Poplar St., Terre Haute, IN 47807.
