She was born August 29, 1926 in New Corydon the daughter of Lisle and Cora (Baldauf) Wehrly.
She was married December 30, 1944 to Glen W. Theurer and he passed away March 13, 2003.
She was a homemaker and member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Salamonia where she was the organist for fifty two years.
Surviving are one daughter Judy Blair of Fort Wayne, one sister Pauline Perkins of Portland, eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Jerry R. Theurer and a daughter Linda Sue Blowers.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Sharon Stonerock presiding.
Burial will be in the Salamonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
