Margie Louise Armstrong, 79, Franklin, passed away Friday Sept. 7, 2012.

She was born in Milan, Tenn., on March 6, 1933, to Willie M. and Catherine Bell (Butler) Fitzgerald. Margie was employed at Western Electric for many years, and she had also worked for JFW Industries. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Indianapolis.

Margie was proceeded in death by her husband Harold D. Armstrong on April 10. 1995; her sisters, Lorine Reeves and Erlene Durham; and her brothers Carl and Bill.

She is survived by her sons Todd (Robin) and Troy (Cher); grandchildren Justin, Nicci, Megan, Chris, Donovan, and Kezia; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Mildred Durham, Dorothy Collins, Mary Marshal, Joyce Blackwell, and Retha Chandler.

Daniel F. Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St., Indianapolis. Funeral at 1 p.m. Tues. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
