Cecil Abrams
Cecil Abrams, 73, husband of Mrs. Katherine Brown Abrams, of 234 Cart Drive, died Monday evening at a local nursing home.
Native of Newberry; son of the late Oscar Hugh and Phoebe Reagin Abrams; retired from Harwood Beebe Company after 45 years; member of the First Presbyterian Church; major in U.S. Army in World War II; graduate of Clemson University.
Also surviving: son, Cecil Brown Abrams of Spartanburg; sisters, Miss Frances Abrams and Mrs. George Stephens of Newberry; brothers, Thomas M. Abrams of Newberry, Edward P. Abrams and Malcolm S. Abrams of Greensboro, N.C.
Graveside services 2 Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Dr. James E. Fogartie, the Rev. Dan Youngblood, Dr. W.L. Ball.
Family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Smyrna Presbyterian Church, Route 3. Newberry S.C. 29108 or Mobile Meals of Spartanburg.

Graveside services for Cecil Abrams, 73, husband of Catherine Brown Abrams, of 234 Cart Drive, 2 today in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Smyrna Presbyterian Church, Route 3. Newberry S.C. 29108 or Mobile Meals of Spartanburg.
Mr. Abrams died Monday.
