Emma was the daughter of William and Martha Meadvill (aka Meadville or Meadwell) of Jefferson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. On 3 Oct 1882, Emma married Charles Bacon, who was a miner. The wedding took place at her residence, 2122 Carson Street, with August Flack officiating. On 3 November 1882, Charles and Emma Bacon had a son, Francis H. Bacon (aka Henry Francis), who was born at Ford, Washington County, Pennsylvania. Emma Meadville Bacon died 22 August 1886 at age 21 years. Abraham Funeral Home prepared her body for burial and she was buried 24 August 1886 at Lobbs Run Cemetery.
