Stella Eleanor Bade, 82 of Cedar Park and formerly of Gonzales died Saturday, May 7, 2005. She was born November 27, 1922 in Flatonia to Anton Lawrence and Albina Simcik Gast of Moulton and Fayette County, respectively. She was a member of St James Catholic Church. She married Freddie Otto Bade on August 7, 1971 in Gonzales and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Samantha Miller of Galveston, Carolyn Nesbitt of Wimberley and Kathy Baker of Marble Falls; one son, Dennis Baker and wife Carolyn of Houston; four grandchildren, Bridget Miller, Clint Nesbitt, Brook Miller and Robin Gilbert; eight great-grandchildren, Abbey, Alexander, Sophie, Megan, Jake, Dylan, Keller and Kaley; one sister Martha Callahan of Katy; four brothers, Leroy Gast and Frank Gast, both of Gonzales, David Gast and Jim both of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers, Anton, Paul, Emil and Victor Gast and two sisters, Rosie McMillian and Annie Posoisil.
Funeral services were held t St. James Catholic Church on Monday, May 9, 2005 at 10 a.m. Burial followed att the St. James Cemetery.
