J. W. Agee, 87, A Pioneer of BHB, is Dead
WINCHESTER – J.W. Agee, pioneer of the Big Horn Basin, died at the home of his daughter and son, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Burke, Casper, Saturday after a long illness.

He was born Sept. 4, 1868. Services will be held in the Basin Cemetery Thursday as 11 a.m.

Agee married Susan C. Hanner in Fremont, Nebraska on December. 24, 1890. His wife and his oldest daughter Mrs Elma Farrel, preceded him in death.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Grace Schlaf of Burlington; and five other sisters and a brother living out of state; children, Ernest and Ivan of Basin; Gertrude Casey of Greybull; Edna Burke, Guy and Max Agee, Martha Curtis and Mary Moe of California; Grace Williams of Anburn, Washington; James of Billings; Warren of Worland and 13 grandchildren.

The newspaper has a different BD than other documents.
