Services for Floy Lillian Adams,91,of Ada are 11 a.m. Friday in the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery. She was born Oct. 20,1903 in Pontotoc County, Indian Territory to John and Etta Stafford Roberts. She lived in the Ada area all her life and attended school at Beebe.
She married Melvin Ray Adams July 27,1952 at Ada. He died Feb. 20,1973 at Ada.
Mrs. Adams was a member of the Ada Church of the Nazarene and was a homemaker.
Survivors are Leonard Thompson and Gene Standridge, both of Ada; daughters Greetith Bethune, Lone Grove and Shirley Sloan, Bethany; a brother, Oris Roberts, Galey a sister Lois Hayes, Tahlequah; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenny Standridge, and a granddaughter, Diane Sloan.
Bearers are grandsons Mike Strandridge, Gary Sloan, Melvin Thompson, Jimmy Strandridge, Joe Strandridge and David Thompson; and great-grandsons Neil Raney, James Thompson and Keith Raney.
