Musician. Known as "Bob 2," he will be best remembered as a founding member and guitarist with the new wave music ensemble "Devo." The group scored a gold single with their hit "Whip It" in late 1980. Born Robert Edward Casale, Jr., in Ohio, he was initially pursing a career in the medical field as a radiation technologist, when he joined his older brother Gerald to form "Devo" during the early 1970s. He went on to join the music company Mutato Muzika. He died from heart failure.
