She was the daughter of Franklin E. and Rita C. (Fischer) Wise. Her first husband, Ronnie Thomas, survives in Arlington. On Dec 15, 1979, she married her former husband, Sam Dixon, who preceded her in death just hours prior to her.
Surviving are two sons: Nick (Kris) Thomas, Findlay, and Collin (Kerri) Thomas, Van Wert; a daughter, Rhonda (Kirk) Slough, Arlington; a brother, James (Anne), Akron; two sisters: Becky (Doc) Wimmers, Chicago, IL, and Jane Wilkins, Celina; a brother-in-law, Robert "Chico" Weber, Celina; two sisters-in-law: Barbara Wise, Troy, and Brenda Wise, TX; and five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers: Franklin "Skip" and Michael; and a sister, Barbara Weber.
She was formerly employed at the Wilson Shoe Store and Huffy's, both Celina, and Mercer County Mental Health (Foundations). She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina.
Funeral services will be at the St. John Lutheran Church, Celina, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating.
