Frances Morey the youngest daughter of Rev Silas Morey was born March 27, 1855 at Williamsburg, VA. When just a mere child she came to Iowa where she lived most of her life. She was reared in the parsonage home and was the last one of 12 children to pass on.
When quite young she united with the Methodist Episcopal church and remained a faithful and devoted member as long as she lived.
In 1876 she was united in marriage to Wright M Mooers and to this union was born one daughter, Debbie.
She was a beautiful singer and enjoyed playing and singing the old favorite hymns.
Sixteen years ago she moved to California and made her home with her daughter Debbie L Gable who kindly ministered to her during her illness.
