Edward J. Bagwell
Edward Judson Bagwell, 84, husband of Joe Ada Israel Bagwell of 171 Bon Air Ave., died Wednesday in General Hospital after a brief illness.
Native of Spartanburg County; son of the late J.T. (sic) and Kitty Brown Bagwell; retired from New South Insurance Co.; former dispatcher for local cab companies; member of Calvary Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World; veteran of World War I.
Also surviving: sons, Alton and Lincoln W. Bagwell of Spartanburg; daughters, Mrs. Nadean Hutchins and Mrs. Rebecca Malone of Spartanburg; sisters, Mrs. Esther Noland of Grover, N.C., Mrs. Edith Frances and Mrs. Lou Ella Corn of Asheville, N.C., Mrs. Vashti Lominick of Forest City, N.C.; brother, Willis Bagwell of New Orleans, La.; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Services 2 Friday at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by Dr. E.E. Hite Jr.; burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at the chapel.

Pallbearers: Elbert and Lawrence Teaster, Roscoe Wolfe, Thomas Robbins, David Bolt and George Page.
Mr. Bagwell died Wednesday.
