Barbara J. Cross, 68, of Linton, passed away Friday, May 3, 2002 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born June 12, 1933 in Gosport, she was the daughter of Ralph and Martha (Stierwalt) Laymon Freeman.
She was retired from General Electric. She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John William "Bill" Cross; two grandchildren; and father, Ralph Layman.
Funeral service was at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer at 2 p.m. today. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery.
