Born in Beirut, Lebanon on February 12, 1924, Mary was the daughter of the late Salim and Loulou (Fadel) Rouhana. She was raised and educated in Lebanon. In April of 1945 she married Emile G. Charbel who passed away on October 16, 2004; their 59 year union was based on mutual respect and importance of their family. Mary immigrated to Utica at age 62 to be closer to her family. She worked as a loving and dedicated homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Louis Gonzaga Church.
