Mrs. Baker, 77, of 504 2lst St. died
at 8:35 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 1989, at her home.
Mrs. Baker retired as a cook from the Altoona Hotel, with 31 years service.She was born March 20, 1912, in
Sinking Valley, the daughter of William
and Ida M. (Fleck) Yon, and married Chester Baker, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Vivian Frye of Altoona; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is a sister, Velma Williams of Chicago Ill
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Harvest Baptist Chapel of Altoona.
Friends will be received from 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday at the Scaglione Funeral Home.

11 a.m. Wednesday at SCAGLIONE FUNERAL HOME, by the Rev. George Sanders and Pastor Steve Frye.
Interment at Blair Memorial
Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
