Mrs. Adams died Tuesday morning at her residence, 3108 Glasgow street.
Mrs. Adams was a native of Lawrenceville and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Vaughan. She graduated from St. Paul Normal and Industrial State College. She did further study this summer at New York University.
Mrs. Adams had been a public school teacher for 25 years, and was at the time of her death a member of Crestwood high school's staff.
She was married to the late William A. Weaver. To this union were born two children, Patricia Vaughan Weaver, and Herman Adolphus Weaver.
She was a member of the Norfolk County Teachers association: Second District Teachers' association, and Virginia Teachers' association. She also held membership in Gamma Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, L'Armatine's Moles, Les Toujours Cartes, Jack and Jills, and the Eureka Wives. She had worked actively with the Eureka Wives. She had worked actively with the TB Association and the Cancer Fund.
In addition to her husband, children and parents, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Parker of Jamaica, N.Y.; Mrs. Beatrice Monia and Miss Christine Vaughan, both of Brooklyn. Three brothers, Clyde Vaughan and Charles Vaughan, both of Washington, D. C., and Dr. James Vaughan of Petersburg; three aunts, Mrs. Lavinia Vincent of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Georgia Goodrich, of Lawrenceville, and Mrs. Helen Goodwyn, of Brooklyn and other relatives.
