Herschel M. "Pep" Pepin passed away into the loving arms of our Lord on Friday, January 24, 2014. Pep was born on December 10, 1928 in St. Paul Minnesota where he lived until he retired to Pocatello, Idaho about seven years ago.

He drove and dispatched for Yellow Cab, where he was awarded cab driver of the year. He then worded 30 years as a driver and dispatcher for Bruce Motor Freight and received numerous driving awards. Pep made clocks, games and remodeled various houses and home additions.

Pep is survived by: his wife of 62 years, Bernice Pepin, of Chubbuck, ID; daughters, LynnRae Ries of Arizona, Denise Marcel of Idaho, Kathleen Nygaard of Colorado, Laurie Ann Pepin, of Idaho; grandchildren, Devon Marcel of Arizona, Vanessa Nygaard, of Illinois, Sara Nygaard and Alex Nygaard of Colorado; and great-grandchild, Hunter Scalia of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Hazel Brandt Pepin; brother, Richard Pepin; sisters, Lorraine Locke and Margaret Moore.

Pep will be remembered as a hardworking, no frills kind of guy with a great sense of humor. As per his wishes no public services will be held. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road
