Veronique Alma, better know as Veronica, was born in Kansas, and moved to San Fransisco as a young woman. The meaning of Alma, her middle name is, "nourishing, kind soul, learned young woman. Which was Veronica's true spirit.

She worked at the Rinkin Annex Post Office in San Fransisco, from shortly after she arrived in San Francisco, until she retired in her early 70's. She married Russell Delbert Bossard in 1957, who preceded her in death in 1975. She had two step daughters from that union, Judy Lee Bossard Lord, and Linda Jean Bossard Furbush. And, many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.

She was young at heart, and never wanted anyone to know her real age, right to the end. She was a member in good standing at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Chapel By The Sea, in Pacifica California. Veronica always had time to be of service, rising early every morning, as long as her health allowed, to help prepare for the morning mass. She loved her fellow parishioners, who had become her family in her later years.

Her mortal body will rest at Mt Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery, Daly City, CA. along side her husband Russell. She will be greatly missed, but has earned her place beside her Savior, who she served with great joy in this life.
