Jorgen served in the Danish Royal Guard for two years, from 1944 to 1946.
He immigrated to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 1955 and met and married Shirley Rowe.
Both became United States citizens in 1962 in Chicago, Ill.
Jorgen was a businessman and worked in electronic packing in Menlo Park for a number of years and living in Foster City for 26 years before settling in Sonora 20 years ago.
Mr. Jacobsen is survived by his wife, Shirley (Rowe) Jacobsen, children, Lisa Gonzales, John Jacobsen and Eric Jacobsen.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Jacobsen.
Interment will be at Dambacher Memorial Cemetery.
