John Bennett, age 62 of Acworth Dallas Road NW, Acworth, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Wellstar-Kennestone Hospital.
Mr. Bennett was born January 24, 1948 in Cobb County, Georgia, son of the late Clayton Bennett and Mary Lee Hart Bennett. He was preceded in death by a step-son; Dewey Tidwell and by a sister; Grace Louise Carver.
Survivors include his wife; Donna Lynn Tidwell Bennett of Acworth; step-son; James Bennett, son; Robert Bennett and a daughter; Christy Bennett all of Acworth; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters; Debra Tanner of Taylorsville and Becky Smith of Euharlee; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon February 6th at 3:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Cassville Cemetery.The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.
