She was born on November 16, 1916 in Monroe County, Ohio the daughter of William Perry and Adella Berentz Knowlton.
She was a member of Calvery Baptist Church in Canton, MI.
On June 3, 1939 she married Ralph Edward Alloway and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1996.
She is survived by one sister Regina Smith of Whitney, NJ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Perry Knowlton and Alden Knowlton and two sisters Myra Nell LaVerdue and Georgia Knowlton. At her request there are to be no services.
Burial will be in Matamoras Cemetery, New Matamoras, OH.
