Mr. Robert Kenneth Adams, age 78 of The Rock, died at Brightmoore Hospice in Griffin GA, on Saturday January 11, 2014.
Mr. Adams was born in Pike County to the late James Samuel and Mary Bertha Adams. He retired from the General Tire and Rubber company with over 25 years.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife Christine Adams of The Rock; sons, Terry (Karen) Adams of Meansville, and Johnny Keith Legg of Thomaston; brothers, James (Carolyn) Adams, and Ronald (Sue) Adams both of The Rock; sister, Mary Sue (John) Mixon of The Rock; and grandchildren, Sam (Tammy) Adams, Laura (Ryan) Adams, Kyle (Kristi) Legg, and Brandon Legg. Ten great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams will be held on Monday January 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Sunday January 12, 2014 from 5-7:00 PM.
