OBITUARY

GIFFORD DUNCAN

Gifford H. Duncan 77, longtime Cannon Falls resident died on Friday, June 20.

A son of Edward and Lillian Duncan, he was born on June 26, 1902 in Leon Twp, Goodhue, MN. He attended grade school Dist #44 in Sogn Valley. He married Leona Lindell on February 4, 1928 in Minneapolis. She now survives.

Other survivors are three sons, Archie and Harlan of Cannon Falls and Clair of Redwing: three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Norma) Taylor of Northfield, Mrs. Joseph (Marcelyn) Jacobson of Nerstrand and Mrs. Telman (Lois) Stenerson of Goodhue, one sister Lucy Elchuk of Cannon Falls: 19 grandchildre and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents eight brothers and two sisters.

Services were held on Monday June 23 at 2 p.m. at the Lundberg Motuary with Rev. Chas. Jacobson and Rev. Gregor McDonald officiating. Internment was in the Cannon Falls Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard and Roger Taylor, Keith and Mark Jacobson, Daniel and Larry Duncan, Timothy and Jeffrey Stenerson. Organist was Mrs. Chas. Jacobson and soloist Richard Duncan.
