20 Sep 1907--Mrs. John Peacher, formerly of Sturgeon, died at the home of her son, Robert, in Kansas City, Saturday, of paralysis. The body, accompanied by her son, Robert, and wife, and daughter, Mrs. John McCauley, arrived here Sunday night and was conveyed to the home of her son-in-law, J. A. Douglas, of near Rucker, and laid to rest the next day in Mt. Pleasant cemetery by the side of her husband, who died several years ago. She was 73 years old."
