Stacey Berry
Stacey M. Berry, 40, of Lodi, died April 19 in a Sacramento hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born May 21, 1964, in Berkeley.

Mrs. Berry was raised in El Cerrito. She was employed as a crossing guard and noon duty supervisor at Beckman School. She was a homemaker for many years, and was active coaching T-ball in Vacaville and as the secretary of the PTA at Beckman School. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Lodi.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Berry, of Lodi; son, Christopher Berry, of Lodi; sister, Sandy Fanning, of Citrus Heights; brother, Bryan Whitaker, of Carmichael; parents, Kathie and Arvis Whitaker, of Rancho Cordova; and grandmother, Charlie Luckey, of Richmond.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Temple Baptist Church, 801 S. Lower Sacramento Road. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Grant Berry scholarship fund at Schools Financial Credit Union, 5210 Madison Ave., Sacramento, CA 95841.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
