Mamie A. Luce, 90, 625 Houser Dr., died Wednesday morning at Allen Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kirby Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in the Douglass Cemetery.

Mrs. Luce was born Nov. 23, 1884, in Douglass, the daughter of Charles and Mary Jane Singletary Plastridge. She Married George L. Lewis Feb. 10, 1904, in El Dorado. He died in 1915.

She later married Frank G. Luce, April 19, 1917 in El Dorado. He died in 1954.

She has lived in the El Dorado area the past 8 years. Prior to moving here she had lived in the Douglass, Burden, Beaumont, and rural El Dorado areas. Mrs. Luce was a member of the Douglass United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Lena) Rogers, Akron, Ohio, and Charlotte Luce, 625 Houser Dr.; one brother, C. A. Plastridge, Burden; 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sons, two sisters and one brother.
