Nancy Brockman, 81, of Meadowbrook Drive in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Luther Curry and Mary Elizabeth Bennett Curry, was born in Adair County, April 27, 1911. She died at 9:40 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 1992, in Campbellsville after an illness. She was a member of the Pollards Chapel United Methodist Church in Adair County. She was married to Harry Brockman Sr. on Feb. 18, 1928. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1986. Brockman is survived by four sons and three daughters, Hollis Brockman, Joe Brockman, Jimmie Brockman, Jesse Brockman, and Julia Edelen, all of Campbellsville, Ethel Pollard, Columbia, and Jean Corbin, Ramsey, Ind.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers, Florene Green and Russell Curry, both of Columbia, Mollie Buckner and Stanley Curry, both of Greensburg, Cora Nell Kemp, Tallula, Ill., and W. C. Curry, Indianapolis, Ind.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Ray Curry, Allen Curry, Iva Lee Hancock, and Nannie Mae Stone. The funeral was at 11 a.m., Monday, May 4, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with the Rev. William R. Beard and the Rev. Don Gowin officiating. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stanley Corbin, Frank Rice, Greg Rice, Larry Bloyd, Don Shuffett, and L. C.
