Mr. Alpha, husband of the late Pauline Alpha, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Patterson, LA, he was a son of the late Earl Independence and Stella Alpha. Mr. Alpha served in the U.S. Navy and was a WWII veteran. He loved animals.
Surviving are his children, Steven Alpha (Julia) of Boise, ID, Sharon Hagenburger (Don), of Elgin; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a sister, Betty Spence (Reynard). He was predeceased by a brother, Peck Alpha.
