The body was taken to Hill & Fredericks Mortuary, Davenport. Elizabeth Guy was born in Davenport, where she married William Ceperley in 1919. He was a former managing editor of the Davenport Democrat, a predecessor to the Quad-City Times. He died in 1956. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. L. D. (Betty) Rogers, Davenport, sons, William, Denver, Richard, Bettendorf, and the Rev. Robert Ceperley, Maryville, Mo; eight grandchildren, sisters, Mrs. Lillian Roege, Davenport, and Mrs. Helen Dunn, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
