STATE NEWS
TRINIDAD, Colo., Feb. 11.—Miss Martha Appenzellar, 35 years old, died today on Santa Fe passenger train No. 2 while crossing Raton mountain. With her was her invalid brother, W. F. Appenzellar. They came West some years ago for the benefit of their health. They were on their way from Monrovia, Cal, to Delphi, Ind., their home. The brother said that his sister became worse recently and they thought they would hurry back to see their mother. The brother is an Odd Fellow and is being taken care of by that order here. He is in a serious condition.
