Philip Paz passed on July 29, 2005 in Walnut Creek. He was born Sept. 29, 1940 in Youngstown, OH to Philip and Phyllis Paz and was raised in Hollister, CA with sisters Phyllis and Paula and brother Paul. He graduated from San Benito High School. He then attended the University of Santa Clara, followed by three years in the Marine Corps. He met and married his wife of 43 years, Shirley, and completed his education at Fresno State University. His career spanned 23 years of dedication and hard work with Long's Drugs. He retired as V.P. of Marketing. He finished his years as a freelancing entrepreneur. He was a man that touched and influenced many lives, none more than those of his his two children, Philip and Jennifer; son-in-law, Rob; and his three grandchildren, Nathan, Sam and Sara. His spirit will remain eternal. Friends are invited to attend memorial services on Sat., Aug. 6, at 2pm at the Oak Park Hills Vhapel, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA.
