The death of Mrs. Fannie Bridger occurred very suddenly Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Atty. and Mrs. C. P. Thornhill with whom she made her home. Mrs. Bridger was a life long resident of Caldwell Parish and was 95 years of age. She lived a serviceable and unselfish life and was active in civic and church affairs until her health failed. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church and was a cherished citizen because of her long, faithful and useful life. She was the wife of the late George W. Bridger and the mother of two daughters, one of whom died early in life and Mrs. C. P. Thornhill with whom she made her home.

She is survived by one daughter and a large number of relatives.

Funeral services were conducted at the family residence at 6:00 o'clock Sunday evening with Rev. W. R. Wendt, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Active pallbearers were: C. C. Bridger, H. C. Bridger, and A. D. Bridger, Elmo Cruse, Willie Broadway, Jim Humble, J. E. Talbert, and Brake Fluitt. Interment was made in Columbia Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home.
