Mrs. Eugenia Bridger Bush, 87-year-old former resident of Caldwell Parish, died Monday morning at her home in Convent following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. J. W. Boyd, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Columbia in charge.

Interment was made in the family plot in the Columbia Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Trauth and Mrs. Karma Mitchell, both of Convent; one brother, Archie D. Bridger, president of the Caldwell Bank and Trust Co. of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Loula Mae Seal of Columbia and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harry A. Busch, Boyd Wilkins, Henry McGee, David Gartman, Bobby Joe Lee and R. O. Cummings.

Mrs. Bush was the widow of the late W. K. Bush, who was employed with the Missouri-Pacific Railroad Co., for years as a depot agent. He served as agent at Columbia and Clarks for several years.

Mrs. Bush was born and reared in Caldwell Parish, and she leaves many friends here who bemoan her passing.
