Beloved son of Carla and the late James Ray Brown, Sr. Loving brother of Jonathan (Jenny) of Linda, CA, and Jenifer Brown of Folsom; the adored uncle/godfather of Drew James Brown; and devoted grandson of Delbert Ray Brown of Hornbrook, CA, and Thomas and Audria Spangle of Gazelle, CA. J.J. ("Phat-Daddy") will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A 1997 graduate of Folsom High School, J.J. is remembered for his superior athletic abilities, kindness, and loving nature. He could make anyone laugh - to know him was to love him. Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 1:00 PM at St. John's Parish, 307 Montrose Dr. in Folsom. J.J. will be laid to rest next to his father at the Gazelle Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Oct. 29, in Gazelle, CA. A memorial fund has been established in his name, The James Ray Brown Jr. Memorial Fund, at The Golden 1 Credit Union, 1117 East Bidwell in Folsom. Arrangements handled by MILLER FUNERAL HOME.
