SPANISH FORK - Florene Rowbury Johnson, 58, of 65 S. 400 E., died Tusday in the Payson Hospital of a heart attack.

She was born Feb. 2, 1916 in Huntington, Emery County, a daughter of James S. and Urie Bailey Rowbury. She married R. Dean Johnson on July 19, 1935 in Spanish Fork, and the marriage was solemnized later in the Manti LDS Temple.

She was educated in Provo city schools. Active in the LDS Church, she was president and teacher in YWMIA and a visiting teacher in Relief Society. She also was a member of the DUP, Camp Wild Rose.

Survivors include her husband, two daughters and one son, Mrs. Jay (Renae) Ainge and Mrs. Keith Y. (Gwen) Barney, both of Spanish Fork, and Carl Dean Johnson, Montrose, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John A. (Loretta) Nelson, Spanish Fork, and Mrs. George (Beth) Morse, Provo.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork Fifth LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Paul Calder officiating. Friends may call at Walker Mortuary Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in Spanish Fork Cemetery.
